Spanish clubs Osasuna, Levante track Eagles star Azeez

Spanish clubs Osasuna and Levante have joined the chase to sign Ramon Azeez this month, Punch reports.

Azeez has failed to get back into Granada’s starting line-up since he fully recovered from injury and is eager to play football.

Our correspondent learnt that Granada are reluctant to allow him join a Laliga team.

Sardella and Almeria are some of the Segunda clubs also linked with Azeez in the current transfer window.

“He (Azeez) has met with the club (Granada) director and is seeking a loan move away from the club to keep his place in the Super Eagles,” a source close to the footballer, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told  Punch.

“They are prepared to loan him away to clubs not in the topflight division in Spain or abroad.

“Azeez wants to play but rejecting offers from LaLiga teams has hurt him.”

Azeez, 28, has played eight times for Granada this season. Punch
