Firm asks to block SAP accounts over breach

A firm, B4G Consulting Limited, has urged the Lagos State High Court to restrain the banks operated by the Systems Applications Products Nigeria Limited from releasing the total sum of $3,371,945.27 and N5m to SAP and other instruments belonging to it pending the hearing and determination of an alleged contract breach suit.

The firm, in a suit marked LD/ADR/519/2016, and reassigned to Justice Ezekiel Ashade, sought an order of the court directing the banks to file and serve affidavits before the court within seven days of the grant of the prayers of the firm to disclose an account of all money, funds or other instruments belonging and payable to SAP held with them.

Apart from SAP and Systems Applications Products (Africa Region) (Proprietary) Limited, other respondents in the suit are the National Petroleum Investment Management Services, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, Nigerian Petroleum Development Company Ltd, Department of Petroleum Resources, and the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Others are Debt Management Office Nigeria, Access Bank Nigeria Plc, Ecobank Nigeria Limited, Citibank Nigeria Limited, Fidelity Bank Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, First City Monument Bank, Globus Bank Limited, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Heritage Bank Plc, Keystone Bank Plc, Polaris Bank Plc, Providus Bank.

Others are Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited, Sterling Bank Plc, Sun Trust Bank Nigeria Ltd, Titan Trust Bank Limited, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, United Bank for Africa Plc, Unity Bank Plc, Wema Bank Plc, and Zenith Bank Plc. Punch
