EPL: Pogba takes decision on Man Utd future after C Ronaldo’s arrival




Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, is more likely to stay at the club following the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, The Athletic reports.


Pogba, who has one year left on his current deal, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent years.


The World Cup winner has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain of recent.


If he doesn’t put pen to paper on a new contract, Pogba could leave the club on a free transfer next summer.


But the recent arrival of Ronaldo is understood to have resulted in a shift in his mindset.


He is now thought to be more interested in staying in Manchester than leaving to one of his many European suitors.


However, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is still understood to be making contingency plans should Pogba decide to leave. Dailypost

EPL: Pogba reacts to Man United’s 2-1 victory over Fulham




Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has reacted to his side’s Premier League 2-1 victory over Fulham on Wednesday night.

Pogba’s second-half goal gave Man United the victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Edinson Cavani had pulled Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side back on level terms in the first half, following Ademola Lookman’s opener.


“It was a hard game,” Pogba told BT Sport after the game.

“We knew it would be difficult here, they don’t give up, they press, they stay compact behind.

“We conceded a goal and went behind and knew it would be hard, and we had to come back. We needed this win, and we got it the hard way.”

“I hit it well,” he added. “I did not expect my left foot to be like this. You know, if you do not try you do not know what is going to happen.

“I am really glad the ball went in. It was a beautiful goal and a beautiful victory. That’s the most important.”

Pogba will now hope to lead Man United to victory when they face Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday. Dailypost

Man U Pogba opens up on toughest time of his career



Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has admitted his time away from the club when he is playing with the France national team is a “breath of fresh air.”

In an interview with RTL on Sunday, Pogba said he was going through the toughest period of his career at the moment at Old Trafford.

After being dropped to the bench in five of United’s last seven games in all competitions and facing criticisms in England, Pogba gave a fine display on Saturday in France’s 1-0 win against Portugal.

Talking about his difficult time in Manchester, he said: “It is a period that I had never experienced in my career before, where I usually always play and always have the rhythm.

“And suddenly that changes. Little by little, I get my sensations back. I am finding myself again.

“This is what I have to do all the time and be consistent.”
